Prior to founding Bluestone, Mr. Thompson successfully co-founded Willow Capital Group in 2010 and assisted in the development of the private credit union services platform. Prior to the launching of the above private credit union services platform, Mr. Thompson became a member of the leadership team at Credit Union Business Capital, LLC in 2008 to oversee the underwriting, servicing and credit functions of the institution. Mr. Thompson began his financial services career with GE Capital in 1992 as Financial Management Development Program participant which was two-year rotational program designed to build financial risk management talent. Upon graduating, Mr. Thompson, assumed a leadership role in portfolio management and underwriting which comprised reviewing new and existing investment receivables transactions, recommended approvals and deal structuring for an investment mix in excess of $14.0B USD. In 1998, Mr. Thompson, joined FleetBoston Financial Group in the Large Corporate division where his focus was new and existing syndicated debt transactions for investment grade and non-investment grade transactions volume of booked assets in excess of $3.0B USD with commitments ranging from $5MM to $100MM. In 2000, Mr. Thompson joined Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation with oversight under Project, Public and Real Estate Finance verticals. Geographical concentration was on North and South American opportunities with commitments ranging from $5MM USD to $50MM USD. Mr. Thompson, in 2004, was recruited by Royal Bank of Scotland for integration and development of the US business model that focused on monitored and directing the underwriting activities and employees (12) of the Credit Risk Group which had oversight of portfolio in excess of $27B USD. In 2006, Mr. Thompson joined Bayview Financial Group under their commercial real estate platform that were permanent financing facility commitments earmarked for inclusion in the firm’s securitization program with $1.5B USD (AAA/Aaa) securitized during his tenure which included multi-family, retail, office, industrial/warehouse, hotel, mixed-use, self-storage facilities and condo projects.
Mr. Thompson received a Bachelor of Arts [BA] in Political Science from Seton Hall University School of Diplomacy and International Relations, with concentration on Asian Politics and Economics. In addition, Mr. Thompson, holds a Master of Business Administration [MBA] in International Finance from University of Miami School of Business.
Elizabeth Gaviria Tibaduiza, Managing Director

Elizabeth Gaviria-Tibaduiza is currently a Managing Director with Bluestone Financial Group. Elizabeth has 15 years of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loan documentation experience. Prior to joining Bluestone Financial Group, Ms. Gaviria-Tibaduiza was SVP of Loan Documentation and Closing Services at Willow Capital Group (Willow) where she managed and coordinated all CRE loan closings, including but not limited to construction loan facilities and preparation of all documentation for participations/ syndications for transactions totaling $333M. Prior to joining Willow, Ms. Gaviria-Tibaduiza was AVP and Loan Documentation Manager at CU Business Capital (CUBC) where she managed a high performing Business Loan Closing Team responsible for documenting and coordinating Commercial and CRE loan closings (including but not limited to loan Participations and Construction loan facilities) with transactions totaling $561M for approximately twenty-four credit union partners. Prior to joining CUBC, Ms. Gaviria-Tibaduiza was a Senior Loan Closing Coordinator at Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust Company where she was responsible for reviewing and preparing loan documentation for Commercial, CRE and Consumer lending transactions totaling $100M and also gained her experience in Loan Servicing and Construction Review.
Ms. Gaviria-Tibaduiza holds an Associate’s Degree in Real Estate from Florida National College.
